As you know, FSD has taken our talents to SiriusXM Radio, more specifically Shade 45, for The Drive On Shade 45 a.k.a. #TheDriveSXM. That’s right — FSD has invaded the airwaves for a new weekly show on Eminem’s Shade 45 station, featuring the best music from the Midwest airing every Sunday from 11pm-1am CST.
Sunday night’s episode featured a fresh mix from @someguynamedty and a special guest set from one of Indianapolis’ most legendary DJs and music industry staples, DJ Indiana Jones. Indiana Jones’ set was one of my personal favorites since our show’s inception, as I’ve been a fan of his work since the mid-90s and even saw him spin for the first time live in 1999. Crazy history, right? Well, the good news is that we were able to land a guest set from him, where he played some of his favorite Midwest tunes. He used to work closely with Rhymefest, so he blessed us with a rare and unreleased Common and Rhymefest joint, as well as some of his favorite Indy tracks from the likes of Mark Battles, FullyAutomaticDrayco, Mudkids, M-Eighty, Oreo Jones, and more.
