Early this morning, Kanye West debuted his Pablo pop-up shop in Chicago. The only issue? It was actually in Northbrook, IL. Northbrook Court Shopping Mall to be exact. Many fans and stans didn’t seem to care, however, as thousands showed up to purchase the merchandise, with lines wrapping around the suburban mall.
But while some Ye fans didn’t mind, others took to Twitter to display their distaste. Many thought it was in bad taste to put a “Chicago” shop in the suburbs, making it difficult for city kids — especially from the far South and West Side’s — to attend.
To be fair, Kanye probably had no control as to where the shop opened.
