Saba and Noname go back many years. They came up in YCA together, among other things. They are friends and frequent collaborators, and today, they connect for the dynamic “Church / Liquor” —  which offers a harsh look into Saba’s native West Side, and similar areas across the country. It’s systemic, and if you believe otherwise you’re playing yourself. Gentrification, the prison industrial complex — it’s all discussed here.
