They say memories don’t live like people do. But sometimes the best thing’s we have are our memories. Life flies by, and sometimes you just gotta sit back and take it all in — if you don’t, you might miss it.
In my opinion, the journey is better than the destination — but not everyone sees that. I can tell Illi and I are on the same page, however, as he went from riding the L train fantasizing about making it in music, to touring worldwide with Lupe Fiasco. And those memories will live forever.
