Back in April, we had the honor of world premiering K’Valentine and Styles P’s great collabo record, “Soul Searchin.” The track was met with an overwhelmingly positive response, and now we’re back to premiere the official video. Double up. Yes, it’s a cause for celebration. K and Styles connected on the Talib Kweli-included 7 Tour, and the two hit it off, leading to the “Soul Searchin” record. The track was so hot, they got together to shoot the official video — which just so happens to be K’s favorite from the album.
We got with K for a quote and she told us: “Soul Searchin’ is one of my favorite songs from my Debut Album – Here For A Reason. It’s extra special because when Styles and I recorded “Soul Searchin” we were on the 7 tour together and my album was already complete so it became the bonus track exclusively on iTunes. I’m Blessed to have been able to work with the Ghost.”
