Dope ass Indianapolis festival, Chreece, has announced their 2018 date — as well as a partnership with juggernaut Live Nation. More big looks for the budding festival and movement — one of my favorites happening in the country. Last year, I had the great opportunity to be a part of it, and I will certainly be back this year. August 25th is the date, so a big congrats to Oreo Jones, Indiana Jones and the rest of the team over there. Bravo! Check the press release below:
Chreece is a music festival that was founded by Sean “Oreo” Jones in 2015, showcasing up and coming Indianapolis and Midwestern Hip Hop Artists. For the last three years attendance has grown to over 1500 people. Chreece is a multiple venue, one day fest that focuses on underground and emerging Hip Hop artists. This year’s festival will be held on Saturday August 25th, 2018 in Fountain Square, Indianapolis. Line Up to be announced soon
Live Nation Indiana and Chreece Presents
After the success of the first three festivals, Chreece Presents has been formed to promote Hip Hop Culture on a year round basis. While attending the Music Cities Conference in April, Live Nation’s Dan Kemer and Chreece Presents got together to discuss ideas on how to further develop Indy’s live Hip Hop music scene. From these discussions, Chreece Presents was born. The newly formed promotion company will assist Live Nation in promoting Hip Hop shows, curate local music showcases and assist in securing local opening slot opportunities on national tours. This is a great move for live Hip Hop in Indiana and will only strengthen an already burgeoning music scene.Chreece Presents is
