Posted on June 8, 2018June 8, 2018 by Andrew Barber

Produced by Mike Jones

After a high profile feature in the Los Angeles Times this week, Chicago artist Roy Kinsey links with Pete Sayke and Mike Jones for the powerful “Black Boy.”

In the LA Times piece, Roy talks of turning tragedy to triumph. The struggles of growing up in Chicago, being a queer rapper, and just dealing with everyday life in this town. He has a lot to stay and his story should be heard. It’s nice to see him getting this time of coverage. Stream his new single below and read the Times piece here.
