Melo Makes Music releases visual for “The Devil Bought Me a Drink”, cover + tracklist for ‘Hold Your Tongue’

Posted on September 5, 2018September 5, 2018 by Phlash Gordon

For the past several years, Melo Makes Music has carved out himself a spot as one of Chicago’s most unique voices, and he’s gearing up to show this to the world with the release of his first full-length, Hold Your Tongue, due out this week. After dropping off a couple of cuts that didn’t make the album, MMM let’s loose an official joint from the project, along with an accompanying clip. And yes, it is bananas. Melo is a madman escaping the asylum, and we can only hope we’re ready for him to unleash the craziness he’s been hard at work on.

I had the pleasure of listening to the full album a few weeks back, and trust me when I say you haven’t heard anything like it. Hold Your Tongue might just start a new wave, so don’t say I didn’t warn ya.

As a bonus, Melo has also released the final cover and tracklist for the project, featuring the likes of Supa Bwe (that one is crazy) and Tatiana Hazel. Check that out on September 7th, and press play on TDBMAD after the jump.
