Stream Jean Deaux’s new ‘Krash’ album

Despite being one of Chicago’s mainstays for several years now, Jean Deaux has been relatively quiet, periodically resurfacing to drop off an exceptional loosie. Today she rearrives in full force with Krash, her first full-length since 2014’s Soular System. Although that project was nothing to sneeze at, I think it’s fair to say that Krash is Jean’s true debut, acting as the perfect introduction to the artist and demonstrating not just the growth she’s gone through since then, but why she’s regularly been one of the city’s most anticipated acts in the interim. The wait for Ms. Deaux’s step into the spotlight was well worth it. I’ll let her take it from here though.
