Video: Kanye Talks Collabo Album w/ Jay-Z

Posted on October 26, 2010 by Andrew Barber

In a recent interview with MTV, Kanye West revealed to Sway that his collabo project with Jay-Z, Watch The Throne, is in fact, on the way.

“We putting out a whole album now,” he told MTV News’ Sway Calloway. “We had done five [songs] so far, but then a few of them kind of were out there, and I put them on my album. Sorry, Jay. But we got some more, and we’re going to the South of France at the end of the month to just record new ideas. But we’ll probably be done with the album in a day.”

Interesting.  Even though the rumored 11/23/10 release date didn’t hold up, at least we can expect it in the near future.  Or can we?

Later in the interview, Sway remarked that one of Jay’s last collaborative efforts was, Best of Both Worlds, with Chicago’s own, R. Kelly.  Kanye responded:

“I don’t know,” he said. “I guess he likes Chicagoans a lot.”
