Drew Sidora Issues Statement In Drug Sting Allegations

First, I had no idea Drew was pregnant and second, hadn’t even heard she was involved in a drug sting/wire tap case. I will continue to be an advocate for initiatives that promote education, the wellness and stability of our youth, families and communities.”

CHICAGO (February 3, 2011)- Singer/songwriter/actress/community leader/entrepreneur Drew Sidora is back home in Chicago preparing for one of the biggest roles of her life- motherhood. Drew Sidora, who is best known for her roles as Chantel on the Disney hit, That’s So Raven and as herself on the series The Game is excited about her pending birth of her first child. Sidora is already working on a series of children’s books and children’s educational video series. She recently participated as a spokesperson and volunteer with the Illinois Raise Your Hand initiative, which is a growing coalition of Chicago public schools and organizations associated with or advocating for public education. These members collaborate to influence state and local officials to provide appropriate, equitable and sustained funding for public education. Sidora is very excited about any venture that uplifts the youth and targets education. The coalition provides shared tools and methods to enable schools and organizations, in Chicago and throughout Illinois, to effectively mobilize their own stakeholders using their own member distribution lists and communication avenues.Besides this community venture, Sidora can be seen on her co-executive produced movie Blessed and Cursed with gospel vocalists Dietrick Haddon, Karen Clark-Sheard and actress Sheryl Lee Ralph which is available on DVD.
