Hype Men Present: Kanye West’s First Beats [Disc 2]

So yeah, Disc 1 > Disc 2. You probably won’t recognize too much on this disc, other than what later became Lupe’s “Birds & The Bees”. Disc 1 is definitely stronger, but there are still a few gems on here. It’s funny to hear Lu’s style from 10+ years ago, as you can hear the “influencers of the moment” bleeding through on some of the tracks (Swizz Beatz, The Neptunes, Timbaland, even Rick Rock). His progression is amazing and that’s actual facts.
