Taking the stage after DJ Quik, was Waka Flocka, who brought the entire convention center to their feet with his insanely energetic set. I don’t believe I’ve seen such a large group of people go so apeshit for an artist(until Odd Future, that is). But yeah, besides of the sea of cell phones recording their hero (what are they recording for? Do they all have blogs, too?), the crowd was 100% behind Flocka. Security was on 11, but that didn’t seem to bother Flocka as he passed off his gigantic Pink Panther chain to his bodyguard then jumped into the crowd. Here are a few clips from his performance. Bow.

LA REJECTS had the best performance of that night. Crowd was kinda wack. No love for the CHI-TOWN BREAKERS, no love for any local acts, but let somebody that’s “on” come thru and everybody loses it. That’s why all the talent leaves the city to make it. #trustory
