I meant to write about this last week when I got the initial email, but you know how it goes, sometimes you just forget.
Anyhoo, Writers Block Club Magazine (a digital e-zine) recently shot a segment for their upcoming third issue entitled “25 Rappers From the Chi You Should Know Already”. In their shoot they featured 8 of their top 25, including Mikkey, Mic Terror, MarVo, Reno Chinati, Sam I Am, Ang 13, Crystal LeJuene and Malakh El.
Now, a few of the 8 are some heavy hitters we’re more than familiar with, but others I’ve flat out never heard of (no shots!). So for the other 17 who weren’t featured in the photo shoot, can we guess who they’re going to be, or do you think it will be heavy on the unknowns? Hmmm….
I obviously can’t call it. Who would be on your top 25 list?
