Lupe Fiasco – Friend Of The People: I Fight Evil

Posted on November 24, 2011 by Andrew Barber

On Thanksgiving two years ago, Lupe blessed us with his first mixtape in nearly half a decade, the aptly-titled Enemy of the State. It was dope albeit short and sweet, and keep fans and supporters salivating for more. The people then begged for his album to be released, and once it was, they then cried for another mixtape. You can’t get no satisfaction?

Staying true to form, Lu returns with another Thanksgiving-inspired mixtape, the clandestine Friend Of The People: I Fight Evil. No leaks, no information–hell, not as much as a tracklist was released in preparation of the opus. Is it any good? Honestly, you know as much as I do; but I’m assuming it’s pretty great.

Now, hit the jump to download, and refrain from asking Lu for something new for at least 24 hours. Ya dig? Happy Thanksgiving.
