Video: GLC, Cory Mo & Mistah F.A.B. – “Let The Pimpin’ Commence” (Behind the Scenes)

Posted on August 21, 2009 by Andrew Barber

Maurice Garland catches up with Cory Mo, GLC & Mistah F.A.B on the set of their video for “Let The Pimpin’ Commence”, which is one of the better records of the year.  Yeah, I said it.  Cory Mo’s a beast on the production…looking forward to hearing more from him & GLC.  I guess they’re doing a mixtape together.

Fun Fact: Cory Mo expalins, but this song takes from DJ Quik’s first ever “Quik’s Groove” (the instrumental record he includes with every release) from his debut album Quik Is The Name.  I could talk about that album for an hour, but I’ll just say that it’s one of the greatest West Coast albums of all time.  But I doin’ nothin’ but claimin’ my city.  (I’d pay good money for that Kings hat he has on in that video)
