So I guess the rumors are true – Rashawnna Guy has inked a deal with Teddy Autotune and his Nappy Boy Entertainment label. Pain made the announcement and brought her on stage at NIU’s Homecoming concert this weekend. Interesting.

Whassup! I just wrapped up performing at Northern Illinois University (NIU) Homecoming alongside the HeavyHitter DJ Pharris, DTP’s B.X.C., Lyfe Jennings, Yung Joc, HotStylz, & T-Pain.
While there, during T-Pain’s set, I managed to catch footage of him officially announcing the signing of Chicago’s very own Shawnna to Nappy Boy Ent in front of thousands of NIU students. Shawnna then popped up on stage and needless to say, the crowd went crazy!
So, what will this mean for her Battle of the Sexes duet album with Luda Luda? Shelved indefinitely? Is signing with T-Pain a better look than being with DTP? Isn’t it hard enough just being signed to an artist? So many questions.
