Video: Chief Keef Live @ Lollapalooza

Posted on August 5, 2012 by Andrew Barber

Yesterday, Chief Keef and the entire GBE crew kicked off day two of Lollapalooza at the Perry’s tent at noon. The best part? Chief brought his two biggest fans, the two kids from Wordstar that is, to rock on stage with him. Hit the jump for pics of that.

Shouts to Miller Genuine Draft

FUCK DOES HE NEED ALL THOSE “NOTHING TO DO NIGGAS” ON STAGE WITH HIM, THIS WHAT YA;LL CALL CHICAGO HIP-HOP REPRESENTATION? GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE. YOU YOUNG PUNKS AND OLD DUMMIES DON’T KNOW WHAT THE FUCK REAL HIP-HOP IS PERIOD. THIS IS TRAP/RAP GARBAGE. NOT HIP-HOP!

Keef’s songs might be annoying, and the images disturbing, but at the end of the day this 16 year old and his crew has captured the rap game which desperately needs an authentic spark. I appreciate his rawness, and energy, but I hope as he grows as an artist he leaves the senseless gun glorification alone.
