Video: Psalm One f/ Flo & America SCORES STL Students – I Believe in Me

Posted on September 7, 2012 by Andrew Barber

Psalm One has been extremely vocal on Twitter over the past few days regarding the ongoing violence in Chicago — and today she uses her power for a greater cause with “I Believe In Me.” This is yet another clip from her Child Support album, due out 9/25, which is a project she recorded with children from various neighborhoods across the city. As Psalm says: “The ASCAP Songwriter Residency provided me with the blessed opportunity to give back to these hard hit communities in the form of music. I hope you enjoy this project. ”

I BELIEVE IN ME, the current single on the America SCORES “Child Support” album, is available at bit.ly/scoreschildsupport; written and produced by Grammy Award-winning ASCAP songwriter/producer Alonzo “Zo” Lee (Ludacris, Britney Spears), Tendai for The Trak Starz/Starz Angels and America SCORES students from 10 cities; recorded at ex’treme institute by Nelly with multi-platinum engineer Carl Nappa (Nelly, N’SYNC); featuring ASCAP artists Psalm One (Rhymesayers Ent), Flo (Trak Starz Records) and the America SCORES St Louis students.
