Video: Jay iLLa feat. Mikkey Halsted, Rhymefest, Juice & Twone Gabz – “4,3,2,1” [Prelude]

Posted on January 20, 2010 by Andrew Barber

You’ve read the posts, you’ve peeped the Tweets, now catch a visual of DJ Jay iLLa’s “4,3,2,1” live and in action, courtesy of Brandon “N2ition” Riley.  Here we find iLLa, Mikkey Halsted, Juice and Twone Gabz all at Soundscape working on their respective verses and in the booth unleashing their bars of fury.  ‘Fest’s part wasn’t filmed, but you get the idea of how it went down.

The track is to be featured on Jay iLLa’s mixtape Revenge of the Backpacks Vol. 2, which is due out shortly.  Also, on deck for the project is Project Mayhem’s “Boyz In The Hood”, and YP, MarVo, Lungz, Skooda Chose and Que BILLAH tackling “Banned from TV”.

And finally, an official clip for “4,3,2,1” is in the works.  Stay tuned.
