Comm took to the Chicago Sun-Times to rap about his take on the NBA season which officially kicks off in about a week. He breaks down Chicago’s role in shaping the league and how Chicago will continue to be a big factor with the likes of phenom Jabari Parker and others soon to be making their way onto the NBA hardwood.

What’s even more exciting to me is the new talent coming out of Chicago and into the forefront. If Jabari Parker lives up to expectations, he’ll be the third No. 1 overall pick in the NBA within the last seven years who hails from Chicago. That list includes Derrick Rose, of course, and Anthony Davis. Add that to the Chi’s long history of great ballers: D-Wade, Tim Hardaway, Isiah Thomas, the late great Ben Wilson and me (I couldn’t resist!!), just to name a few. Along with having the only franchise to string together two three-peats in a decade, that puts Chicago in a class by itself.
