In memory of the late, great J. Dilla, who passed on February 10th, 2006.
I know I’ve mentioned this before, but besides Rash’s work with No ID, his work with J. Dilla is my absolute favorite (sorry ‘Ye). I could probably talk about it for hours. Common’s Like Water For Chocolate dropped in March of 2000, my freshman year of college (yikes!), and is an album that helped define that era of my life. I still play it religiously.
R.I.P. Dilla. You are missed.
