The city of Chicago, often referred to as Chiraq by native residents because of its “war zone” like inner city neighborhoods, reportedly had 60+ shootings this past July 4th weekend. This song is relevant for that reason alone. This is my plea to the young guys, usually held responsible for these crimes, to stop and think about what they’re doing. This song is from my upcoming album, The Manifestation LP, scheduled for free download August 27th.
