Last night, Lucki Eck$ and his Out$iders crew introduced the world to Alternative Trap — a new state of mind and lifestyle. It was Luck’s first time sharing the project with the outside world, and Luck’s legion of fans packed Chicago’s New Era flagship store to listen and support the budding stars movement. The venue reached capacity rather quickly so apologies to anyone who showed up and couldn’t get in.
DJ Hoop Dreams came through in the clutch and DJ’d the event, getting the crowd TTU before Lucki played the album from front to back. Local hits like “Pop Out,” “Want My Money,” and “Hang Wit Me” had the patrons bopping, crowd-surfing and all out having a great time prior to Lucki taking the stage to play the album, and performing about 75% of it live for the crowd. Guests enjoyed drinks courtesy of sponsors Red Bull and AQUAhydrate.
