Shala – “Audacity of Hope”

Posted on April 6, 2008 by Andrew Barber

Friend of FSD and Chicago hip hop luminary, Shala Esquire (from the group Qualo for those that don’t know), has decided to throw his hat in the Obama dedication ring.

The track was inspired by the Obama campaign and Shala was nice enough to send over a live performance of it.

Speaking of Shala, his track “I Ain’t Goin” which was featured on the release of his latest mixtape, Immortal Movement Radio Vol. 2 (download for free here), is picking up some serious steam around the city, and I definitely give it the big cosign. I’m going to eventually post the track here, but for now check the mixtape for it.
