I was finally able to link up with Que B.I.L.L.A.H. (after all this time) as I felt he hadn’t received the proper shine he deserved on FSD. He’s currently in the lab working on some new material, including a heavy collabo with one of the ‘Go’s hottest acts. Que was nice enough to share this track with us to tide us over for the time being. More is coming – I gave you fair warning. Beware.
Tony Baines produced the track – I believe the sample is from 7th Wonder’s “Daisy Lady”, no? I always loved how Da Beatminerz flipped it on OC’s Big L-assisted “Dangerous” (Jewlez as a ridiculously underrated album – and you can absolutely quote me on that one). Come to think of it, MC Shan and Digable Planets sampled this too…I’ll stop there. [*Tangent!*]
