Last night the Alchemist had a DJ set at Lava Lounge – a bunch of people were in the house (RTC, SC, Eugene, Milt, Juice, Dilated Peoples, Lungz, Hu$tle, Mica – you get the idea) and one person I was able to link up with was Mike Treese of the Chicag0-duo Mass Hysteria.
Mike was nice enough to slide me a copy of their Chicago Underworld Vol.3 album, which features all new tracks from the likes of Kanye West, Mikkey, LEP, Bump J, Pugs and a bunch of other folks. He also gave me the Chi City Vol.2 beat CD, which features unreleased beats from Kanye, SC, No ID and Soundtrakk – and the accompanying t-shirt.
