The Kings of Creative Control, Coodie & Chike, have a seemingly endless supply of unreleased Kanye West footage from early on in his career. Coodie & Chike followed Ye for much of his early pre and post-College Dropout career, and as well all know, Coodie featured Yeezy numerous times on his Channel Zero public access show in the late-90s, early-00s. Today they’ve partnered with Billboard to share some never-before-seen footage of Kanye from 10 years ago, as well as get their thoughts behind it. Read the feature here.
And holy moses, I had no idea Coodie & Chike had some actual footage of the Kanye West/Payroll fight over the “Never Change” beat. They definitely unearthed some ish here.
