I normally skip over tracks I’ve heard before when listening to a new project for the first time, but I decided to let track three on CyHi The Prynce’s Black Hystori Project play straight through a few minutes ago. To my surprise, the previously released “Huey” now features a verse from the city’s own King Louie.
Nor the tape’s ID3 tags or original back cover listed Louie as a guest feature on the song, so I’m sure I’m not the only person that missed Lou’s verse — if I am, I’ll gladly take my late pass. Either way, it’s good to hear Lou alongside another G.O.O.D. representative. Hopefully, there are more collabs from Louie and G.O.O.D. emcees on the way. Stream/download “Huey” below.
