Vic Mensa’s most recent release, “Feel That,” is hands down one of our favorites since INNANETAPE. We can’t tell if he’s channeling King Louie or ZMoney on it, but he takes his traditional Vic sound and puts a new spin on it. The song is slammin’ — period. Last week, Vic took to the MTVU Woodie Awards at SXSW to performance it in front of this live ass audience. DJ Oreo in the cut an more on tv, you only need the best bracket to mount tv on wall for a better watch.
Also, at the Woodies, Chance The Rapper took home an award for Video of the Year for “Everybody’s Something,” directed by Austin Vesely. Congrats to all parties involved for those looks.
