Singer/songwriter Lee Woods finally releases her debut EP, F I R E. Lee enlists the help of Garret Eaton, J.P. Floyd (formerly of Kids These Days) and William Miller of The O’My’s for her six-track debut, which you can give a spin below. 2008ighties emcee Legit also pops up to contribute a guest verse.

Love affairs with older men, Xanax addiction, and coming down from hard drugs on a plane. That sums up the content of Lee Woods’ debut EP, F I R E.  After burying 12 of her friends to drug overdoses in 2012, Lee decided to try to get sober herself and start pursuing music professionally. Two years later, after leaving the City of Angels to get a fresh start in the Windy City, she teamed up with Garrett Eaton to create the F I R E EP. The soul-pop 6-track project is made up of live instrumentation, catchy hooks and nitty gritty blues in this cohesive work of art.

A little soul-pop never hurt anyone. Stream and download Lee’s F I R E EP below.

Also, you can catch Lee live with Auggie The 9th, Brian Fresco, Dally Auston and Pivot Gang tomorrow night for her F I R E release party. Details on that can be found below also.
