In case you’ve been under a rock for the past 24 hours, the first annual AAHH! Fest took place yesterday at Union Park and it was nothing short of amazing. The festival, which an estimated 9,000 people attended, kicked off with a performance from Lil Herb which was followed by sets from SZA, Jay Electronica, MC Lyte, De La Soul and Jennifer Hudson. Shortly after J Hud’s performance, Dave Chappelle hit the stage and introduced Lupe Fiasco. Following Lu’s performance, the man behind the festival, Common took the stage for his set which included a mini-set from Twista and surprise performance from Kanye West.

9k?! But the mainstream media tells me the biggest star on the planet was there. And that the biggest comedian and top rappers were there. And they only pulled roughly the same amount as when Slayer last came through, not supporting an album? BAHAHAHA!
