So in case you’re keeping score at home, in 2015, Common has been nominated and won a Golden Globe, nominated for a Grammy, and has just been nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song for his collaboration with John Legend, “Glory,” from Selma.
We’re only 15 days in the new year, and I’d say Com is already having the best year ever. Seriously. I gotta tip my hat and give him a round of applause — very impressive. Common is truly A-list material.
