Despite D. Rose’s most recent injury, we’re still riding for the hometown hero, and hoping to see him back in time for the playoffs. His campaign continues to be strong, however, as POWERade just debuted this new commercial featuring Derrick and a voiceover from a classic 2Pac recording. Pac fans might remember this from his posthumous poetry project, A Rose That Grew From Concrete. Great synergy on this one. Plus the art direction is crazy.
