Three years ago, FSD announced that Lil Durk and Lil Reese had officially inked record deals with Def Jam Recordings. And today, we finally get a release date for Durk’s official Def Jam debut, Remember My Name. May 12 is the day. Now we can all rejoice.
The project has been a few years in the making, and I’m told the stuff that’s on here is miles away from anything you’ve heard on Durk’s previous mixtapes. As in the material, is some of the best a Chicago artist has ever created. As we patiently wait on the first single, we can at least celebrate the fact that we now have a firm release date. Congrats Durk!
