G.O.O.D. Music Day September 14th

Posted on June 27, 2010 by Andrew Barber

It was announced today via the Twitter that G.O.O.D. Music is dropping three major releases on September 14, 2010.  Kanye’s Good Ass Job (if it’s even actually called that, I highly doubt it will be), Big Sean’s Finally Famous and Kid Cudi’s Man on the Moon Pt. 2 are all tentatively (and I use that term loosely) scheduled to drop.  The significance of the date, well, I’m not sure there is one; but that’s an interesting marketing plan if I’ve ever heard one.  I know labels have tried similar campaigns in the past, but the new guys are usually overshadowed by the seasoned vets.  We’ll see how this one unfolds.

On another note, I’ve heard Sean’s Finally Famous is shaping up rather nicely.  The project is done, and apparently No ID has about 10 of the 15 or so tracks.  Well isn’t that something.  Looking forward to September.
