Last month, we brought you a quick preview of The Weeknd’s new single, which he premiered for the very first time at SXSW. The single, which is currently untitled, was produced by super-talented Chicago producer, Mano, with co-production from Ill Angelo.
The footage that leaked at SXSW was only a brief snippet, but its already amassed over half a million plays on Soundcloud. Well, those fiending to hear more can now do so as Abel performed the track in whole last night during his Coachella set. The crowd? Obviously they went bonkers.
Not much else is known about the track other than it will be on The Weeknd’s new album, which is due out later this year. We’ll have the track for you as soon as it trickles out. But for now, check it out live in front of thousands.
