New Project: Hurt Everybody – 2K47

Hurt Everybody have had one hell of 2015. They’ve become one of the hottest new acts in the city, played sold out shows, been cosigned by legends like Twista, and won over even the staunchest of critics. And even though their entire year has been spent on the upswing, they suffered a critical blow a few months back when hard drives containing almost all of their recorded material were tragically fried. Yeah, it was bad. Rock bottom.

But the trio persevered. They looked tragedy in the face and went back to the lab and recreated their long-awaited 2K47 album that was lost in the accident. But whatever, they came back bigger, stronger and faster. With more to prove. And today they celebrate the 4th of July by giving us said project. 14 new tracks featuring work with Mick Jenkins, Saba, Alex Wiley and more.

This is a big deal, and truly the only fireworks you’ll need this eve. Illuminate with them below.
