It’s Sunday and as promised, here is the first single from Twista’s upcoming album The Perfect Storm. T makes his triumphant return with longtime producer and collaborator The Legendary Traxster behind the boards. Twista just wrapped the shooting of his documentary this week, so look for the film and album to drop within the next few months. I’m going to preview the album this week, and I’ll be sure to keep you updated on how it’s sounding.

I’m a singer and this is my opinion – I’m a huge fan of everything Twista an Trax do , I like it and it sound good fa hittin’ da blocks but it’s almost not interesting enough fa airplay. I could see them playin this at night but during the day is if-y. Its aight but something feels like it’s missing.

People in chicago will take anything from twista…. The rest of the country wants to hear something NEW from twista. His real national look came from songs like “Over night Celeb” and nobody else out had songs like that at the time. He needs a NEW sound not a recycled one.
I need to hear something else off of this album because I’ am not feeling this i’m disappointed in Trax for showing a lack of variety by making this track and i am disappointed in Twista for allowing this, but im sure that have super heat that they are waiting to drop later. First impressions not good.
Twista rap fundamentals just never seem to grey-haired. He keep it nice.
No disrespect to Twista, but I couldn’t take listenin’ to dat hook thru out the whole song, plus it sounds like a “My Chick Bad” knockoff, he coulda gave dat beat to anybody else, but not Twista, he deserves better than dat from Traxter fa’real. The real Twista and Traxter fans know wut we wanna hear from them when they get together, and dat ain’t it.

^I agree with homie this is some pure bullshit. This sound like a quick mixtape track. Twist sound like he just threw some quick verses on here to get it over with. Its one thing to “dumb” it down but its another thing to not put any effort into it at all. Example being “My chick bad”. Now that’s a mainstream track but at least Luda and Nicki put some thought into the dumbing down. It was absolutely no lines in this.
And to the people that keep trying to excuse Traxster’s laziness on this beat don’t even try it. You know this is a “My chick bad” Rip off and not a good one at that. Just because he went platinum with that one does not mean “I Do” will. I mean if you’re going to steal your own beat at least make sure it can compete with the original.
And to all the twista groupies calm down. Im rolling with Twist too but this is not his best work and you know it. I agree that this song won’t make final cut or it will be redone all together if it does
