Another all-star collabo off the Grant Parks and Vudu Spellz mixtape, Hip Hop The Rebirth (Real MC’s – Real Skillz), which drops February 15th, courtesy of FSD and DJBooth.net. I’m not playing when I tell you this project is coming out crazy, and look no further than this Duffmasters posse cut for proof. The project features production from both GP and Vudu, and this track in particular was done by Grant.
Check back next Tuesday for two FSD premieres, one a never-before-heard record from Bump J and other a pimptastic track from GLC. You can hit the jump for the artwork for both of those cuts.

Kanye Closes Orland Park Fatburger
Per NBC Chicago, Kanye has shut down one of his two Fatburger locations in the Chicago suburbs. Coincidentally, this is the only location that I’ve ever visited. It was damn good, so I’m sorry to hear that it’s now shuttered. Beverly residents, you’re okay, as that location is still booming.
The rapper’s Orland Park location of the burger-flipping chain was shuttered on Sunday because of underperforming finances, Crain’s Chicago reports.
West, who has a deal with the Santa Monica, Calif.-based Fatburger Corp. to open 10 restaurants in the Chicago area, opened the Orland Park location at 15100 S. La Grange Road in August 2008. He has a second location in Beverly.
Fatburger Corp. CEO Andy Widerhorn told crain’s the company is seeking a replacement site in Orland Park and that the Beverly location is doing well.

Video: Toxic – Cold Chicago Hip Hop Story
Last week Toxic’s “Cold Chicago Hip Hop Story” dropped to rave reviews, and now we have the video to accompany it. Tox recalls fond memories and shouts out some of Chicago’s pioneers and monumental emcees, and his treatment really brings it to life. At the end of the video Tox has almost two minutes worth of credits thanking those who’ve been involved. Did you make the list?

After the Lakers lost to the Celtics earlier this afternoon, Kobe Bryant made an appearance at The Vault to debut the second trailer from his short film The Black Mamba that premieres during NBA All Star Weekend next month in Los Angeles. In the second preview, Kobe encounters his opponents Bruce Willis (Die Hard), Danny Trejero (Machete) and “The Boss” played by Kanye West.
