First and foremost, I have to tip my hat to Pitchfork for putting together such a solid lineup of hip-hop acts at a music festival. A lot of times, rap at these shows is super suspect. But this year the good folks at Pitchfork rangled up a diverse group of rappers, and on Saturday night, they closed out the show with Danny Brown.
Danny, who was likely off the shits, put on a hilarious and energetic show. His catalog is long, so he pulled from projects like XXX, The Hybrid and Hawaiian Snow. Later in the evening, Danny took his talents to Bottom Lounge to make his DJing debut at the Tumblr Party. Well, he didn’t really DJ, he more so told a DJ what to play, most of which was Chief Keef.
