This is the best video you’ve never seen. Filmed close to three years ago, this GL Joe and HYSTK masterpiece was shelved indefinitely for reasons unknown to me. If you remember, “Champions” was on The Cool Kids’ heralded Gone Fishing project, and was the most talked about visual from the album. It was anticipated, then nothing happened. But today we must celebrate because it finally dropped.
It’s ironic that the video would drop today, seeing as Sir Mike just announced in an interview that The Cool Kids name was dead. Not the group, or them working together, but the name. I hope that’s not the case, because their group name was a great one. But at least the two of them working together isn’t a dead issue. The game needs them. Together.
