Lil Durk has the #6 Album in the Country, #2 on Rap Charts

Andrew Barber

The numbers are in, and congrats are in order for Lil Durk, as the Chicago star currently holds the position of #6 album in the entire country, and sits comfortably at #2 on the rap charts. Combining album sales and streaming figures, Durk’s Def Jam debut, Remember My Name, managed to move almost 27,000 copies in the first week (26,919 to be exact).

The album is one of my favorites of the year, so if you haven’t checked it out yet, we highly suggest you do so. In other Durk news, unfortunately, the ‘Meet the Musician’ event I was moderating this evening with Durk at the Apple store on Michigan Avenue has been canceled, due to issues out of my control. But never mind that, we gotta celebrate Durk’s big win.

27000 is a flop. #6 aint hard when no one else really dropped. Are we being 4real or giving top to these chicago rappers?
