Video: GLC Interview and Live Performance in Chicago

Posted on March 10, 2008 by Andrew Barber

Yesterday, Fake Shore Drive, in conjunction with Ruby Hornet and Bandit Productions caught up with G.O.O.D. Music recording artist GLC, prior to his judging duties and live performance at Chicago’s Vic Theatre for Louder Than A Bomb.

Presented annually by Young Chicago Authors, Louder Than A Bomb is a poetry/spoken word competition for Chicago teenagers brought to you by spoken word juggernaut, Kevin Coval, and last night the finals were held at the Vic Theatre. A big congrats goes out to Kumba Lynx – this years champion.

GLC was a guest judge and as an added bonus performed live for the audience. You can check out the interview (with a nice FSD shout out) above and the performances below. Enjoy

GLC – “Drive Slow”

GLC – “Chi State of Mind”

GLC – “Spaceship”

Big thanks to Roosevelt Treasurechest and Kevin Coval.
