Finally a video has surfaced from Ruby Hornet’s Closed Sessions project which released earlier this year as a FreeP. The video is for Happiness over Riches which features Bun B and 2 of our favorite Chicago artists GLC and BJ over a Weathermen produced track. The video itself was shot in Austin, TX during SXSW and definitely makes me wish that my journey to SXSW this year acutally ended in Austin rather than in handcuffs in Memphis. Either way this video was directed by Virgil Solis and Angel Alzona and kinda brings back that feel of a mid 2000’s Hype Williams video. I really enjoy this clip and hope to see many more like it from Virgil and the Ruby Hornet family.
