Posted on August 3, 2010 by Andrew Barber

I’ve got two puuuurrrsss of J. Cole tix to giveaway today, as he’ll be in town this Friday performing live at the Bottom Lounge for Lollapalooza weekend.   August 6th to be exact.  The doors open at 9pm and it’s a 17+ show.  Today, two lucky players will win a pair.  All you have to do is answer this question and be the first to respond via Twitter or email with the correct answer and you’ll be singing “Who Dat” until you’re blue in the face.

How many songs is No ID scheduled to produce on J. Cole’s upcoming debut album?

If you’re not lucky enough to win todays contest, you can pick up tickets HERE and check out more details on the event here, here and below the jump.

Speaking of Lollapalooza, I don’t even have tickets, so if anyone wants to return the favor and give me a pair it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and good night.

C3, YM!, Knuckle Rumbler, BlindIForTheKids.com, and Bottom Lounge are bringing you the best hip hop show during Lollapalooza weekend –

J. COLE at Bottom Lounge (First Chicago Performance)

Since being signed to Jay-Z’s new label Roc Nation late last year, J. Cole has been one of the fastest rising hip-hop artists in the game. Cole started 2010 well covering both The Source and Beyond Race magazines, as well as being featured as one of XXL’s 2010 Freshmen. Cole appeared on Jay-Z’s album The Blueprint 3, is featured on Wale’s debut album and most recently toured with Jay-Z, Young Jeezy, and Trey Songz on The Blueprint 3 tour. In January 2010, along with Jay Electronica and Mos Def, he appeared on the first single from the new Reflection Eternal album, “Just Begun”.

Cole’s debut single “Who Dat” off his unreleased album is burning up the charts with it’s hypnotizing beat, whip lash punch lines, and chant worthy chorus. It won’t be long before Jay-Z’s protégé never has to ask that question again.

Opening up the night are Sulaiman, juke hustlers BBU, Vonnegutt and FreeSol. Currently signed to Justin Timberlake’s record label, FreeSol’s roots come from Memphis, Tennessee. Backing intelligent rap with a full live band, FreeSol is infuses hip-hop, rock, and soul into one performance you are not soon to forget.

Vonnegutt, Big Boi’s latest label signing, blends classic emcee skills and dope lyrics, adds a pop sensibility and rock energy leaving you spell bound.
