Video: Lupe Fiasco – Go To Sleep [Live @ North Coast Fest]

Lupe Fiasco is one of the best live performers in hip-hop, in my humble opinion.   He just destroys the stage like a true rock star.  Last night, the hometown hero returned to the Chi to help close out the incredibly dope North Coast Music Festival at Union Park.

Hitting the stage in a dashiki, the rain began to pour as he ran through his list of hits.  His set was more on the rock-ish side, but he still made time for his bigger hits (no “Failure”, though) and his new single “Go To Sleep”.  He didn’t talk much to the crowd about his label situation or the status of Lasers, but he did put on for his City and kept the crowd rocking throughout.  Overall a great performance to cap off a great weekend at North Coast.  I hope this fest becomes a yearly tradition.  Salute.
