I agree 100% with Theflyest, these guys paid for a few connections and that has led to them getting a couple of very small segments on BET and MTV but thats all it is. They have no real buzz. There buzz is only local. A real buzz is what Drake had when he came out with his mixtape. It was national recognition and people wanted Drake he didn’t have to bribe and pay for 2 minute segments and shows here and there. Fake manufactured buzzes don’t last long at all. Many artists have come out and some have even graced the XXL Freshman 10 cover but you NEVER hear or see them again. But I’ve been in this game for real. Most of you are just arguing based upon emotion and not the business side of things so your going to say I’m hating but the facts are the facts. But unlike the rest of you I won’t be going back and forth on here, so I’ll just end it by saying by halloween 2011, I can guarantee you that nobody will be checking for these gentlemen and thats from an Industry standpoint. They just don’t have the numbers that people are looking for. We need to see if they can SELL, not pass out cd’s. We want to know what they can get people to BUY. ^I agree. But just like I told my frat bro’s its no point in going back and forth arguing over this shit. My opinion: These guys won’t make it to far in this business. Having the funds to get your music out there is the first step (which E has handled well), but the true testament is whether or not they’re talented enough to stay around and build a real fan base. In my opinion they do not have what it takes. The lyrical content is not at its best and the music is not appealing to a national audience. Not only that I’m not seeing the numbers.
