L.E.P. Bogus Boys Featured In XXL & The Source

It’s safe to say that the L.E.P. Bogus Boys pretty much owned 2010.  From getting videos added into rotation on MTV, to premiering clips on BET’s 106 & Park, the gritty duo from Chicago were seemingly everywhere and doing everything.  They were recently named one of MTV’s Top 10 mixtapes of ’10, and also received the same honors from Rap Radar.

Adding to those accolades, the Bogus Boys were featured in both XXL and The Source’s 2010/11 holiday issues.   Ain’t nothin’ bogus about that.  Above is their XXL feature, written by my homie Alvin Blanco and below is their Source piece.  Gotta smile every time I see that.

  9. LOL yeah I agree. I try to feel these guys but they really are BORING… I dont care what a bunch of dick riders from the streets say!! Especially Moonie, he kinda wack son. And when Moonie tries to do more radio-friendly songs for the hoes, he clearly sounds like he is out of his element and mad uncomfortable!! Count got a good voice that cut the track nice and his tales of the chi-streets are dope, BUT… that gangster shit is just dead now b. Especially gangsta shit comin from Chicago, nobody wants to hear that. Its bad enough baring to see the murders and violence on the news about the Southside and Westside making headlines across the country SMDH!! Trust me, its a clear reason why Bump J aint never blew up like the way he was suppose to (and imma fan of Bump). The whole world knows Chicago is gangsta and very violent…. why would the major labels and radio want to reintroduce that when the likes of Kanye, Lupe, Jeremih is working just fine for them??? Hmmmmm

They have more videos than songs, they have pay for features that never hit the air, everybody look at little e like a meal ticket because they know he pay so they stay in his pocket. Their movement is not organic which is the reason why they still in Chicago with that boring shit and lackluster stage presence. And that’s not hate, those are clear facts people.
