Here is a brief albeit dope freestyle from Mic T during his performance at Sneaker Pimps in NYC (hosted by Dave Jeff) a short while back.  Davy also has some footage of RAWSE’s and Curren$y’s performance as well.

In other Terrorist news, Mic was recently named one the Chicago Tribune’s Top Local Bands of 2011, and he isn’t even a band!  Who calls them bands anymore anyway?  Either way, that’s dope honor from a prestigious publication, not to mention he’s the only rapper on the list.

What happened to Chicago’s promising hip-hop scene? With Rhymefest running for alderman, Diverse missing in action and Kid Sister dancing around the mainstream periphery, the heir apparent to Kanye and Common remains ripe for the taking. Mic Terror comes already vetted for the position. The self-proclaimed “black Bart Simpson” has battle-rapped nearly every formidable area emcee, secured high-profile opening slots for the likes of Big Boi and established a lyrical pedigree with everyday tales and speedy rhymes. On the cusp since early 2009, the south suburban rapper just needs to seize the day.
